Fayetteville State University Elementary Education Professor Recently Published an Article titled, Promoting Student Engagement and Flexible Learning at a Low-Cost: A Collaborative Project Exploring Open Educational Resources and Virtual Reality

Dr. Ashley Johnson-Holder, Assistant Professor in the Department of Elementary Education, recently published an article with Dr. Terrie Bethea-Hampton, Assistant Professor at Campbell University titled, Promoting Student Engagement and Flexible Learning at a Low-Cost: A Collaborative Project Exploring Open Educational Resources and Virtual Reality in the Learning and Technology Library (LearnTechLib).  The article focused on the use of open educational resources (OER) and virtual reality (VR) in the higher education classroom.  When instructors embed these technologies into their instruction, they are exposing students to current and innovative resources relevant to the 21st-century digital learner.
