Department of Elementary Education Presents: “Fall in Love with Math, Science and the Arts, EXPO 2018”

It’s EXPO time again.  This is our 3rd annual event sponsored by the Elementary Education Department at FSU.  At the “Fall in Love with Math, Science and the Arts EXPO 2018,” children PreK-12 and their families will engage in hands-on activities in the areas of math, science, reading, technology, engineering, art and Black History.  Some of the activities will provide opportunities to explore drones; sun observation; 3-D printing; build and shoot rockets; manipulate a human like robot; explore live small animals, be finger-printed; tour a fire truck; learn fire safety rules and meet firemen; play mini golf and test their math estimation skills; get health tips from the professionals; tour the FSU aquatic Lab and chat with  local authors and many, many more.  There are 50 exhibits for the community to enjoy and learn through fun activities. It is our goal that children and their families explore topics, practice skills, build knowledge and fall in love with math, science and the arts during the month of February.

Free admission, giveaways, snacks and parking.
