Dear FSU Family,
Fayetteville State University will operate under condition level 2 – suspended operations from midnight, January 5, 2018, until 10:00 a.m. The university will open at 10 a.m. Employees designated as mandatory must report to work as directed; all other employees may not report to work or must leave the workplace while condition level 2 remains in effect.
When reporting to work, all employees are strongly urged to consider campus conditions and the weather conditions in their residential area, as well as law enforcement reports of road conditions, before making a decision to leave work or not report to work. Staff employees who do not report to work or leave work early must use earned compensatory, bonus, vacation leave, and/or leave without pay for the lost hours.
Prior to 10 a.m., the only access to campus will be via W.T. Brown. All other entry gates will be locked until the campus officially opens at 10 a.m.
The university will continue to monitor the weather throughout the remainder of this evening and tomorrow morning. Further notifications will be sent as needed. Please check your email, the university website, and local media outlets for important updates.
