Fayetteville State University (FSU) has been named as having one of the top 50 Online MBA programs in the United States by Affordable Colleges Online (ACO). ACO, an organization of higher education professionals established to guide students in identifying high quality online options, noted that “Top online MBA programs offer not only flexibility, but academic rigor, student support, and cost structures that rival – and in some cases surpass – their campus-based counterparts.” After analyzing more than 500 colleges, FSU’s online MBA program was one that stood out. Attributes considered by ACO included “full accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), low student-teacher ratios, and faculty with demonstrated excellence in business and management.”
The FSU School of Business and Economics (SBE) has also been recognized as among the top online MBA programs in the nation by US News and World Report and OnlineMBA.com. In addition, the Princeton Review has consistently listed the MBA program as one of the country’s best graduate business programs. The impact of the SBE’s faculty scholarly research has also been ranked in the top 100 by the Social Science Research Network.
Dr. Assad Tavakoli, Dean of the School of Business and Economics at Fayetteville State University, noted that, “We are pleased that the significant investments made to deliver leading edge distance learning options in our MBA program enable us to provide a powerful and affordable education for high potential working adults. By offering students the option to participate in live streaming lectures and discussions or to access recordings at their convenience, we enable them to pursue a high quality MBA around their schedules.”
